Oilfield Talk Ep006 - Cuz Trey York Trey York grew up in the Oilfields of West Texas in the 70's and 80's. He did Rodeo for a while… but I never knew he also Wrangled Rattlesnakes. His Stepfather Joe Stembridge was a very well-respected Specialist in the Texas Oilpatch and during his almost 40 years in the industry… brought Trey into the oilfield as a kid and not only passed on his oilfield knowledge but a great work ethic too. Trey has spent half his life in a variety of oilfield jobs... from a Texas Roughneck to the oil well fires of Iraq where he helped to secure those wells. He helped build the sub-sea deepwater infrastructure to bring Oil and Gas to shore… as well as the new LNG facilities on the Gulf Coast. Ep005 - Dennis Blum - Bargemaster Dennis Blum spent 38 years in the Oilfield starting out as a Roustabout and retiring as a Barge /Marine Supervisor. He worked Offshore both in the Gulf of Mexico and International. Retirement has not slowed Dennis down… he continues to travel around the world visiting exotic locations; his last trip was to Columbia for 5 weeks. When he is home, he enjoys "The Salt Life" living on the Tchefuncte River in South Louisiana.

Ep002 BONUS - The Past 48 Hours This is a BONUS episode that I talked about during the "Ep001 Poopy" episode. I discuss the 48 hours leading up to recording Percy in Kaplan. One of the more stressful 48 hours I've had in a while because I had a plan... but, anyone will tell you... a great plan is only good until first contact - then you have to adapt and overcome. We did just that! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to record multiple people while at home... so I'm making it up to everyone with a few extra BONUS episodes explaining some of the 'behind the scenes' action. Next Week, I hope to upload the "Rig Party" episode. Following that... I have a full Audio & Video of when I returned to Kaplan; Poopy and I Boil Crabs & Shrimp in the SwampBucket. Percy "Poopy" Lormand III has 35+ years in the Oilfield and worked his way up from Galleyhand to Company Representative. Native of South Louisiana... he is the FIRST Oilfield Talk Guest. We also recorded a Video of a traditional "Louisiana Saturday Night - Shrimp and Crab Boil" using the "Swamp Bucket"... which is a 5 gallon plastic bucket... we'll show you how well that worked out! This is my first geaux with recording and editing a Podcast... sure hope you enjoy it as much as I did bringing it to you. I will continue to learn and improve in this new endeavor.
