Rao Singha, Cat Hellshire, and Fenghua Jian travel to Japan in search for Maltia Kamiyama, a stage actress who has locked Rao's Everlasting Shenjiu and has possession of Cat's Everlasting Shenjiu. In Tokyo, the trio meets Hina Chiba, stage manager of Maltia Kamiyama's theatre company: Gekidan Kamiyama. Hina informs Rao, Cat, and Fenghua that in order to unlock Rao's gourd, they must participate in Maltia's project, The Gekijo Kumite, and defeat the four ensemble leaders of Gekidan Kamiyama. After her fight with Rao Singha, Cat Hellshire wakes up in Rao’s home and discovers that Rao is away.
