Being product people, we put a lot of effort into understanding our users. We go to incredible lengths to show them empathy, experience their daily struggles, and then work day and night to come up with a solution to their problem.
Nonetheless, our efforts are only as good as our execution. While we try to get in the heads of our users, we forget that we are not the ones that will create the end product - our engineers are. That often does not stop us from neglecting that...
