You have to love the grind, Without that you are never going to succeed at your goal and you are better off looking for something else to do. It is just one of those things that you wont be able to force yourself to do on the bad days if you dont enjoy the journey.
You need to look at yourself for answers. No one is going to climb in the pit and carry you out. Most people will help once you have shown some willingness to work at changing. don't be afraid, it is much brighter where you are going.
The future for content creation for the video game industry is no where near the top and has an unbelievable amount of room to grow. If it is something that you are interested in you should give it a try... It will be hard and not everyone will make it but don't let that detour you from trying
There is this rising issue all be it old issue, where companies are releasing unfinished games marketed as full releases... this is a problem for consumer confidence and it is an issue that is hurting the growth of the industry. The other issue that recently has been coming up is micro transactions and they have been around for a long time but they have become predatory as of late and that needs to stop.
