Jill Magee - Making each athlete physically the best athlete they can be

5/6/2024
strive to create an environment of success within and around the athlete. 19 years plus in the professional athlete world, both on teams and working directly with the athletes, has given me some pretty amazing experiences and insights on how the human body and mind connect and work together to create success in sports. I have found that success comes when the athlete really knows themselves and can have good safe “conversations” with their own body/mind, coaches and teammates. The culture created in and around the athletes is the key to long term success. I use my education, experiences and curiosity in human movement and the nervous system paired with my sense and understanding of overall athlete development to help the athletes with their goals and success. Each athlete is different so I’m able to use my tool box of skills in movement, sports performance, visualization, somatic exercise, breath work, muscle therapy and coaching to create a plan with them and their team to become the best version of themselves. I believe strongly that it takes a village type effort for individuals at the top level and I thoroughly enjoy working with others for the betterment of the athlete and team. I feel I have a unique and natural approach to sports performance because I feel everyone has within themselves the power to be great, it just needs to be molded and supported with science and mindset. I truly enjoy learning from others and connecting in an authentic way to help the sports performance community grow and support the athletes we get to work with. I live with an open minded approach that has served me well in my career. I’m truly grateful for my colleagues and friends that have taught me so much by being great in their field of knowledge and are open to deep discussion and thoughts. Sarah Trifogli - Taking care of athletes

4/1/2024
Balancing training volume & intensity around work & social demands, whilst optimising sleep & recovery, and tracking nutrient intake all at once takes a lot of planning, effort & management. It can be easy to fall off the rails & it can be hard to pick yourself back up. Experiencing this juggling-act first hand has enabled me to build better rapport with my patients & athletes, and help them think outside the box when it comes to finding the right “balance” for them to achieve their goals.

During this time, Postural Restoration, alongside holistic medicine, emerged as crucial elements in my journey.
