The 2nd annual Anaheim Ducks Alumni Golf Tournament took place this week at Pelican Golf Club in Newport Beach! Alexis Downie spent the day on the links talking to Teemu Selanne (00:59), Scott Niedermayer (4:23), Guy Hebert (7:03), Ryan Miller (12:21) and Sean Pronger (15:16) about the tournament and how their rounds were going. Plus, hear from the Executive Director of the Anaheim Ducks Foundation, Wendy Arciero (17:24), about the event and how it benefitted a special organization.

The band is back together! Emerson Etem joins Alexis Downie this week to give an extended overview of the Anaheim Ducks 2023-24 NHL season. Etem shares his thoughts on the growth of the team, impact of injuries, needs this offseason and more. Plus, Etem talks about his first season in the booth with Steve Carroll.

After 12 years in the NHL and 11 with the Anaheim Ducks, forward Jakob Silfverberg is officially retiring from the NHL. Silfvy joined Alexis Downie in the Kariya studio to reminisce on his career, including memories from the 2015 and 2017 Ducks playoff runs, playing alongside Andrew Cogliano and Ryan Kesler and how he got so good at the shootout. Silfvy also shares his excitement in returning to Sweden to play for Brynäs IF, his hometown team, and what it was like raising his family here in SoCal.

Dan Marr, the Director of NHL Central Scouting, joined Alexis Downie this week to give a behind-the-scenes look at how the process works for scouting and ranking draft eligible players. Marr also talks about the Central Scouting Final Rankings that were released last week, including analysis of a variety of players on the list ahead of this year's NHL Draft.

Welcome to Anaheim, Cutter Gauthier! He joined Alexis Downie after his first practice as an Anaheim Duck to talk about the past few days, signing his entry-level contract and the end of his college career at the Frozen Four. Gauthier also shares how he's grown as a hockey player this season, his excitement in making his NHL debut in Vegas and much more.

Later, they discuss the innovative and highly successful inaugural PWHL season, the growth of Women's hockey, and the Anaheim Ducks second annual Women in Sports Night.

Alexis Downie is joined by Olympian and PWHL Boston team captain Hilary Knight to talk all about the inaugural season of the PWHL, including the record setting crowds and unique league rules. Knight also shares more on the impact the PWHL has had on it's athletes and how she hopes to see the league expand to the West Coast in the future.
