Your saying to them, you might have all these emotions, but you need to bury them and that's saying to a child, those feelings and those emotions just aren't valid. And this can be really, really damaging for children. Again, it might look like on the surface they're fine, and they're getting through it. What's happening inside is really different...

9/13/2021
In this episode, we will be looking at some of the most common mistakes that parents make when children are facing challenges. Everyone goes through challenges, so It’s not about trying to prevent them from ever happening. It's about gaining as much as we can and learning from these challenges. So when our children face them it’s not just about survival, it’s about learning how to grow from the experience. As parents, we should be coaching kids rather than jumping to their rescue. This teaches them resilience and how to resolve things for themselves. This prepares and equips them for similar situations that may arise in the future.
