TuneIn, the world’s largest audio network, today announced the company’s lineup for South by Southwest (SXSW) including SXsports’ Selection Sunday Special on March 13, and a takeover of Easy Tiger Bake Shop and Beer Garden during SXSW Music March 17 – 19.
Through collaboration with a variety of partners including Comcast Ventures, Westwood One Radio, Big Machine Label Group and Loma Vista Recordings + BODY HIGH, TuneIn brings an unprecedented offering of content to listeners worldwide and SXSW patrons spanning sports, music and entertainment. The complete line-up delivers seven sports audio episodes and 21 live music performances from both established and emerging talent.

The eclectic feel of SXSW as captured by TuneIn will be available to listeners for free wherever they are via TuneIn Studios @ SXSW. The 24/7 station, which is currently live and showcasing music from various 2016 SXSW artists, encompasses ‘sports by day, music by night’ with exclusive live streams of TuneIn’s original content, as well as three days of music showcases featuring TuneIn Sessions, Loma Vista Recordings + BODY HIGH, and Big Machine Label Group.

SXSW Comedy Opening Party, presented by Comcast Ventures – 10:30 pm: In partnership with Comcast Ventures, TuneIn brings listeners an exclusive live stream of SXSW Comedy’s Opening Party, featuring a DJ set from Lil Jon, followed by a live performance from Ludacris.
SXsports’ Selection Sunday Special – 5:30 pm: As the official sponsor of SXsports’ Selection Sunday party, TuneIn enlists veteran media personality Pat O’Brien, comedian Chuck Nice and a group of college hoops enthusiasts and bracketologists to break down the dance card of 68 teams headed into the madness of the 2016 NCAA Tournament. The group will discuss and debate key matchups, Cinderella contenders and give their Final Four predictions to help fans fill out their brackets.
