Classic Vibes was built around the concept of establishing itself as a “musical museum” of R&B history in general and contributions of Cincinnati in particular. It honors the legacy of WCIN in Cincinnati that was the second oldest R&B radio station in the country. It served the black community well over fifty years. The goal of ClassicVibes1480CIN is remind the community of it’s rich musical heritage as well as it’s phenomenal contributions that are too often overlooked. There will be a sincere endeavor to archive these accomplishments.
